Yoga Exercises For Sagged Breasts

Sagging breasts are mostly a problem related to aging. As we grow older, our skin loses elasticity and is unable to be as firm as when we are younger. Like skin on most parts of the body, our breasts suffer from the loss of elasticity too.

Reasons

Lack of nutrition, unbalanced secretion of oestrogen hormones, unusual weight loss, hereditary or gravity, disturbance in hormones dueing menopause.  

Wrong ways of breast feeding, irregular menstruation, sudden weight loss after crash dieting are just as responsible.

Another reason is ill fitting bra. A woman should wear a well-fitting bra with the right cup size for at least 10 hours a day, especially while working out. 

Pregnancy is the most important among all that leads to loss of firmness in breast. The involution period in breast is the most noticeable phenomenon that occurs after breast feeding. The milk making system that is no more needed shrinks naturally and followed by the shrinking process of cells and tissues breast suffers from sagging and loosening. The Breast sagging can also happen due to expansion and contraction in internal breast tissues when a woman undergoes for prolonged period of Breast feeding.

How To Prevent / Cure Sagged Breasts

Keep your diet rich in protein, essential fats, carbohydrates, salts, vitamins, calcium, and minerals. Proteins are especially essential in toning the muscles and keeping them firm.

Avoid animal fat. Replacing your standard cooking oil with virgin olive oil and oily fish will help a lot. Consume antioxidant supplements like vitamin C and E, especially vegetables like onion, garlic, broccoli, carrots, cabbage, tomatoes, and cauliflower. 

Must wear a perfect sized bra with perfect cup size. Many branded bra are available in market which support breasts perfectly preventing sagging.

Reduce the consumption of nicotine, caffeine, chocolates, and carbonated drinks to keep breasts firmer.

Swimming is probably the best exercise to get a healthy and firm bust line.

Exercises for Breast Firming

Push Ups

Lie face down (on your stomach) on a flat surface
Put your palms in parallel to your shoulders on ground
Bending elbow raise your body on palms keeping your ankles crossed
Don’t touch your chest on floor
Repeat this exercise for 10 times in 2 sets with another exercise in between

Pectoral Push-ups

Lie face down with palms on floor as in conventional push-up
Keep your forearms and elbows on floor
Hold this for thirty seconds and repeat it from start position
Repeat it 5-7 times

Pectoral Press

Lie on your back straight on flat surface firmly supported by cushy foam
Take dumbbells of 3-5 pound in weight in each hand
Position your arms at right angle to your body
Slowly bring your arms from shoulder facing together over your chest
Hold for 1-2 seconds and press your arm down to the starting position
Repeat it 10-12 times in 2 sets daily

Inclined Press

Lie down on your back on cushy flat surface
Take dumbbells of 3-5 pounds in weight in each hand
Bend your elbows at the right angles to your body
Bring the weight in your palms to touch your chest slightly with bent elbows
Inhale slowly and hold the dumbbells for 2-3 seconds over your chest
Take back the weight to starting position while exhaling
Do not lock your elbows
Do 3 sets in 8-12 rep with a minute of rest between each set 

Palm Push

Take a sitting, standing or lying position according to your comfort level
Feel relax and breath smoothly
Press your each breast with your palms
Hold for 4-5 seconds and repeat it 10-12 times daily

Butterfly Press

Sit on a chair in straight posture with arms hanging sideways
Take dumbbells of 3-4 pounds in weight in both the hands
Raise your arms to shoulder level
Hold this position for 4-5secs and bring back arms to starting position
Do 3 sets in 5-7 reps

Some Yoga Exercises To Fix Breast Sagging

Slowly raise your arms as high as you can. Then, join your palms above the head. Push your arms in the upward direction as much as you can. Stay in this position for as long as you can. Repeating this as many times as you can for 15 minutes daily will tone up the sides of your breasts. Within two months you will find a gentle lift in your breasts.

You can couple this with a daily massage with aloe vera gel, emu oil or almond oil. Massage any of these for about 10 minutes it in upward motion. 


Another effective remedy is bathing the breasts with cold and hot water alternatively. For that, you can alternately spray hot water and then cold water about five times. Doing this improves blood circulation and gives your breasts a better shape..
