Beach Etiquette For Clothing Optional or Nudist Beach
1. Don’t stare. Gawking or staring at nude
sunbathers is impolite. It is always rude to stare at others. If you
want to go to the nudist beach for a thrill, do everyone a favor and
buy a magazine instead. Also do not look other with binoculars or zoom
lense camera.
2. Don't take photos. No photos or movies are allowed morally at the clothing optional beach.Cameras are actually prohibited at many clothing-optional and nude beaches and security may come towards you if you are using any. If camera is allowed at your nudist beach and if you want to take photo of anyone first ask him/her. Just because people are letting it all hang out nude on the beach doesn't mean they're doing it to give you a great photography.
3. Avoid any sexual activity or hint of sexuality with,
obviously, your partner. Sexual activity is never, we repeat never,
considered normal on such beaches. On most of nudist beaches, there are
families too and so any sort of lewd behavior is not
tolerated.
4. Bring a towel with you. Use your folded towel to sit on when you're off the beach at nude public areas, such as beach bars.
5. Let others know you're nude on a clothing optional beach.
If you're nude on a clothing optional beach then let others know they
are approaching an unclothed person..You can do this by putting your
bikini or bathing suite out in the open, either on a rock or a chair.
If you are having a wind blocking condo or umbrella with you let your
swim suit flap in the wind from there. If you don't want anyone to see
you nude keep a spare towel or bathing suit close at hand to cover up
with before they see you. If you're uncomfortable having your suit out
of reach, bring a spare.
6. Bring plenty of sunscreen! You will be nude at such beaches so maximum of your skin will be in touch with sunlight. So bring sufficient amount of sunscreen to apply at regular interval protecting your skin from any possible harm with sunlight.
7. Be friendly and respect others' rights of privacy. Don’t walk around so that you may look to others as if you are hunting for a pleasing view of some muscular men. Advances of any unwelcome or unwanted behaviour is never acceptable anywhere and this becomes very important at a nudist beach.
8. Help keep the area clean. Bring and use trash bags. Don't leave any glass bottles, packets, boxes etc. on the beach. Make sure your area is cleaned up when you leave.
9. Get dressed Before you leave a nude beach and especially a
clothing optional beach, put your clothes back on. It's considered much
bad and also sometimes illegal to walk back to your car in the buff.
